At North Manhattan Eye Center, Dr. Gabriel Ferreira, Dr. Allie Nadelson, and Dr. Joseph Rousso lead a team dedicated to redefining eye care and facial aesthetics in Manhattan with a personal touch. Dr. Ferreira, known for his pioneering techniques and compassionate care, works alongside Dr. Nadelson, whose expertise and warmth light up every patient visit, and Dr. Rousso, a renowned facial plastic surgeon whose precision and artistry elevate both form and function. Together, they craft a vision of care that's not just about seeing better—but living better.

Gabriel Ferreira, M.D.

Dr. Gabriel Ferreira is a board-certified, fellowship-trained glaucoma surgeon and ophthalmologist known for his expertise in comprehensive eye care and emerging innovation. Born and raised in New York and fluent in Spanish, he is committed to providing exceptional care to the community he proudly serves.

As one of a select number of fellowship-trained glaucoma specialists in New York, Dr. Ferreira offers full-spectrum glaucoma care, from early diagnosis and medical management to advanced surgical treatment. His clinical work is complemented by active involvement in research, medical technology development, and global innovation trials, where he contributes insights that help shape the future of ophthalmology.

Allie Nadelson, M.D.

Dr. Allie Nadelson is a medical retina specialist who specializes in macular diseases, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, macular degeneration, and related disorders.

Dr. Nadelson received her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and went on to medical school in Puerto Rico, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.  After completing her internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, she completed her ophthalmology residency and served as chief resident at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island.  She then completed her medical retina fellowship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

Dr. Nadelson comes to our practice extremely well-trained and fluent in Spanish.

Joseph Rousso, M.D.

Dr. Joseph J. Rousso is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, including rhinoplasty, deep-plane facelifts, and cleft lip repair.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and received his medical degree from Florida State University. He completed his General Surgery internship at Beth Israel Medical Center, followed by a residency in Otolaryngology at The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. He then completed a facial plastic surgery fellowship under renowned surgeon Dr. Andrew Jacono.

Dr. Rousso is a former Chief of Facial Plastic Surgery at Mount Sinai’s Eye & Ear Infirmary and now leads a private practice in Manhattan. He is also an active medical educator and surgical volunteer.
